NOARK Music
A truly unique tradition
Researchers are backing up what Camp NOARK's staff knew decades ago: Singing together is one of the most healing, most unifying activities that humans can undertake together. It calms anxiety, soothes the soul, brings pride and joy as we learn to create something beautiful together. The old Girl Scout songs, rounds, and harmonies are hard to find these days, but at Camp NOARK they live on, continuing to work their magic with today's girls.
If you or your camper have experienced Camp NOARK music, you may be interested in Orion's Soundcloud copies of some 1980's recordings of our Echoes of NOARK songbook here. (You can find a guide to which songs are on which numbered recordings here by recording number or here by song title.)

"I'm a happy NOARK camper;
I'm a happy NOARK girl.
Mystic bonds that bond forever...
Friendships true will follow you."

"Girl Scouts Together,
that is our song;
Winding the old trails,
rocky and long;
Learning our motto,
Living our creed;
Girl Scouts Together in every good deed."

"I feel the warm of friends around me;
I hear the rustling wind go by...
And as I sit here, I can see...
Oh, what a lucky kid am I!
Lucky, lucky; Lucky are we
to be here at Camp NOARK,
all of you and me."
